Two and a Half Months Old in Singapore

(More text to follow).
Mounting frames on the wall was the last piece of work to be done in my month long "home building" personal project.

After 5 years, I've highlighted my hair again. I even appointed a Color Technician and a Sylist here. More structure means better styling.

I had several visitors during the past few months (including my family). I had to discover creative ways to entertain them (and myself like in this photo).

Look for me on the upper left side of this screen capture of a Singapore Idol telecast. Stategic seating at its finest.

The Idol Song

The end of an Idol season brings forth not only a new artist but a song describing his or her journey. Here's one of them, a fast-becoming fave of mine.

You should listen to the track.

Do I Make You Proud?
Taylor Hicks , American Idol 2006

I've never been the one to raise my hand
That was not me, and now that's who I am
Because of you, I am standing tall
My heart is full of endless gratitude
You were the one, the one to guide me through
Now I can see and I believe
It's only just beginning

This is what we dream about
But the only question with me now
Is do I make you proud?
Stronger than I've ever been now
Never been afraid of standing out
But do I make you proud?

I guess I've learned to question is to grow
That you still have faith is all I need to know
I've learned to love myself in spite of me
And I've learned to walk the road that I believe

This is what we dream about
But the only question with me now
Is do I make you proud?
Stronger than I've ever been now
Never been afraid of standing out
But do I make you proud?

Everybody needs to rise up
Everybody needs to be loved
To be loved

This is what we dream about
But the only question with me now
Is do I make you, do I make you proud?

This is what we dream about
But the only question with me now
Is do I make you, do I make you proud?
Stronger than I've ever been now
Never been afraid of standing out
But do I make you proud?
Do I make you proud?

This is what we dream about
But the only question with me now
Is do I make you, do I make you proud?
