Fire has helped me let go of the clutter I've kept in my room the past year. Yeah, it is wrong to pollute the air but that's what happens when there's no paper shredder around. The bookshelves are now in order. I've managed to make the open shelf contain all my travel books, "Culture Shock" series, German language audio CDs, and magazines that will keep me busy next year (Men's Health as I hit the gym anew) and Metro Him (which is a fashion guide more practical than the foreign ones). After an hour of burning stuff and (oh) taking artistic fire shots with my digicam, I felt relieved to have started and finished my annual "spring cleaning".

New Year, New Hairstyle

I welcome 2006 with a new hairstyle, probably the best and most expensive one I've had in ages. I wanted to have a messy look and my stylist at Toni & Guy sorted it out. Guess I shall be going back to 6750 next time round.

Takeoff

After much thought, I have finally decided to fill up this space with my random thoughts on the world. I remember writing journals in high school, rating each day from a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest). Nah, won't be doing that type of scoring anymore. I'm keeping my Fotopages site as that will contain most of the photos of my activities here in the Philippines and outside the country.
